I had the salmon pizza and it was perfectly cooked! Crispy crust, not too fishy salmon taste, and just the right amount of olives. A reasonably priced place to go to for some weekday ambiance. Yummy
It was insanely loud, though I wonder if that’s owing to the byo policy! Service was pretty slow which may have been due to the industry staff shortages that are currently prevalent and one of our sharing pizzas never turned up but by the time the rest of our food did eventually appear we were satisfied enough without it.
We had the garlic potato focaccia as an entree which was delicious and I had gnocchi pesto for main which was equally yummy. Food wise I certainly can’t complain everything was extremely tasty and the pricing was very reasonable. Love the open kitchen where you can see the chefs pumping out the pizzas also
Very rude female manager who I spoke to twice, once before ordering to request that I paid for add on olives to be replaced by basil as surprisingly fresh basil was not an option for a margarita ?? I rang after the order to let her know I’d ordered and even offered to pay extra if there was at least one small basil leaf on each slice. Never ordering again. If you want the best pizza near Richmond choose Sylvio’s - best margarita in town - been going there since 1999
This used to be my favourite pizza restaurant.
The pizza quality is still reasonable, though it’s much nicer at south Yarra location.
Any other food on their menu, however, is either disgusting or tasteless or a mixture of both.
The chicken parmigiana is hard to mess up, but somehow I received the worst parma I have ever had. The sauce was bitter and undercooked and the chicken was a soggy mess, I didn’t even have to cut it with a knife. I’ve had better parmas at dodgy pubs. Even the chips were soggy and the salad still had gritty dirt in the leaves.
The prawn pasta was drowned in cream sauce to try to mask the flavour of the old prawns, but somehow the sauce had no flavour in itself - even though it stated garlic in the ingredients.
The atmosphere is abhorrent, I feel like I’m in a school canteen with underage screaming teenagers drinking obnoxious amounts of BYO wine.
I’m incredibly dissatisfied, will not be returning.

We didn’t eat in, we ordered take away. On their website, I ordered a pizza and a pasta dish. I specifically asked that no anchovies be put on the pizza. We received the pizza with anchovies! Annoying as we didn’t discover this until we got home, and quite frankly, couldn’t be arsed going back! As for the carbonara pasta for $19, it was a very stingy serve that actually didn’t fill the container it came in. It also had mushrooms and there were bits of asparagus or some other green unidentifiable thing in it. We have had pizzas and pasta from here either take away or eating in. How hard is it to get a pizza right? I don’t think it would be difficult at all. Next time, read what people actually ask for. It’s not rocket science. Oh and I asked the person who picked up the order if they were smashed and maybe that would explain it, but no, he said it was quiet! We will think seriously about dining there again.
not a bad experience at Fratellinos. always bustling with people especially in the evenings and on weekends. asked for takeaway and was told 45min wait on a Friday night, not bad except when we went to pick them up, they’d lost our order! they made them immediately and were quite nice and fresh. not traditional pizza, more like a focaccia, chewy base, but yummy and a variety to choose from. Thanks!
The food was great! I ordered a Mexican pizza and it tasted amazing. I love wood-fired pizza and they did not disappoint. It was a little bit noisy not so much because of the crowd but more so because of the sound bouncing off the walls. The interior was nice though. Very rustic wooden look to it. Great vibes. There's a toilet in the back which was fairly easy to use and reasonably clean.
I really enjoyed the food from here. We had the lasagna. The pasta was cooked well and the sauce was really tasty. Having it together was one of the best lasagnas I’ve had.
We also got the movie land pizza as it seemed to have every topping we wanted. The pizza was really good and even the crust tasted great. The pizza slightly on the thinner side so we get more the topping taste. I’d recommend this place and it’s not very expensive as well.
